Year-End Pre-Books and Pre-Pays

Do You Plan Early? Or Do You Prefer a Break First?

The end of the calendar year is approaching, and hopefully the last of the crops were all off the field before the snow. Whether you like to take some time to yourself or get it over with while your head’s still in the game, November is a good time to plan next year's crops and think about how your year-end is going to shake out.

Booking Fertilizer Early: More Flexible Than You Think!

Many producers time their financial year to end December 31, so November is a great time to pre-buy fertilizer and other main inputs. Whether it’s to help with the books and keep The Accountant happy or just for peace of mind, we can help you book some or all of your blends in advance, when markets tend to be at their winter low. I’m happy to text or call you when fertilizer markets change so you can stay in the loop and get the best price. We offer flexible delivery plans to fit your schedule, or you can pick up your blends on-site from our 2000MT+ capacity plant! With our volumetric system and overhead batch bin, we can load a Super B in less than half an hour!

Don’t Forget Your Herbicides!

Come check us out at the Virden Agro Site to pre-book your glyphosate and glufosinate acres. I know that Round-up is a tried-and-true brand, and I’m confident that our Vector 540 will do the same job for a better price, so come ask about either for your glyphosate needs. Talk with us about Liberty products or other alternatives for your canola herbicide system, and we’ll have you covered there, too! Booking these large-quantity herbicides in advance helps secure your supply.

Flexible storage solutions, delivery, and the ability to take pre-payments on your Co-op Member Account help us make the process easier for you. Pop by our office in Virden, or contact me to schedule a farm visit. We want to make crop planning as easy as possible.
