Fuel Good Day, 2023 was a huge success. Valleyview Co-op would like to thank our community members and community partners for their support on September 19th.
Through fuel, Co-operative Coffee, Big Cool, popcorn and FGD Mug sales we were able to raise $4,641.56 for our local community. Donations have been made to the following organizations:
- Virden — Royal Canadian Legion Branch #8 — $2,326.36
- Melita — Royal Canadian Legion Branch #127 — $1,118.12
- Kenton — Royal Canadian Legion Branch #118 — $697.08
- Pierson — Southwest Library, Pierson $500.00
We look forward to coming together again in September, 2024 to help other local groups on Fuel Good Day.

Fuel Good Day is back! When you fill up your tank on September 19, 2023 at a Valleyview Co-op Gas Bar in Virden, Melita, Kenton or Pierson, Co-op will donate ten cents per litre of fuel purchased to a local registered charity or non-profit organization. All grades of gasoline and diesel fuel are eligible.
This year Valleyview Co-op will be raising funds for:
- Virden Legion, Branch #8
- Melita Legion, Branch #127
- Kenton Legion, Branch #118
- Southwestern Manitoba Regional Library, Pierson
In 2022 Fuel Good Day, thanks to Co-op members and customers across Western Canada raised $650K! There were 175 organizations selected as recipients for Fuel Good Day in 2022. Over $3.65 million has been raised since the event began in 2017.
Some of the ways that you can support Fuel Good Day include filling up with gas or diesel on September 19th and purchasing a Big Cool or Co-operative coffee.
Available now in all four locations, purchase a Fuel Good Day mug for $25.00 and refill for free until October 19th (details in store). Proceeds stay in your community.
