SHOP CRS is here!
October 27, 2021

Valleyview Co-op joins 44 other Co-op locations in Western Canada on the www.shop.crs platform. The move to SHOP.CRS comes with several benefits for local shoppers. When visiting the site, customers will be able to choose from a list of visual items, and also select a second choice should their first be sold out. The new site will also allow a customer to pick the time they would like to have their order brought out to their vehicle. During a customer’s first visit to SHOP.CRS they will be asked to:

•Create an account and start filling their cart
•Select a time to pick up, enter payment details and submit their order
•Drive to the store, park in the designated pick up spot and call the number on the sign
•One of our friendly team members will bring their order to their car

Once an order has been placed you will receive a confirmation e-mail.  If that e-mail doesn't arrive, please check your junk folder.  When your order is ready for pick up, you will receive another e-mail that includes any information on any substitutions in your order.

The transition to SHOP.CRS brings to an end telephone ordering and delivery service at the Virden location for the general public. Operations Manager Blake Krahn says phone orders will continue for those who need it most. “Many of our legacy members don’t have access to the technology to access SHOP.CRS and we want to make sure we continue to support them as best we can.”

Community members can apply for Extended Services, which include telephone grocery orders and grocery delivery. Applications will be considered for long-term coverage, but they can also be submitted for short-term medical reasons. A $5.00 fee per delivery order will be applied.  Applications are available at the Virden Food store location, 250 Princess St. West.
