A message from Valleyview Consumers Co-op Ltd. General Manager Gregory Gill.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, team leaders and team members, I extend my gratitude for your continued support. Valleyview Consumers Co-op Ltd. experienced another successful year in terms of sales and revenues. Petroleum litres continue to be strong; however, food volumes experienced a slight decline while crop supplies had strong results despite challenging conditions. 

I am pleased to share that our Board of Directors approved an allocation of $2,544,496. The Board felt necessary to thank our members for their loyalty with a 65% cash repayment, equaling $1,752,694. A total of 6,290 cheques were mailed; cheques averaged $279 relatively even from the previous year.

To our members, guests, and community groups, I would like to say thank you. Your continued support of our Co-op allows us to offer quality goods and services in Virden, Melita, Oak Lake, Pierson, Kenton, Reston, and Oak River. We are proud of the investments we have made in community projects; these investments will ensure we help build sustainable communities for our members, families, and friends.
