Fuel Good Day is Back September 16th

Putting gas in your vehicle isn’t something most people get excited about, but Fuel Good Day might be the exception.

Back again for its ninth year, Fuel Good Day sees 10 cents per litre of fuel sold donated to local charities in Kenton, Pierson, Virden, and Melita. Community members can also help support local groups by purchasing Co-operative Coffee, Big Cools, or Lunch.

This year, the following local groups will benefit from Fuel Good Day donations:

  • Pierson Early Learning Centre
  • Melita Nursery Cooperative
  • Virden School Nutrition Programs
  • Kenton Community Enterprises — Playground Project

In 2024, the record-breaking total saw more than $704,000 go to 200 organizations chosen by Co-ops across Western Canada.

Locally, Valleyview Co-op members and guests helped raise $10,061.06 for their communities.  We hope to see you on September 16th for Fuel Good Day.
