We welcome you to the 2026 Valleyview Co-op Annual General Meeting
Why attend the Valleyview Co-op Annual General Meeting (AGM)?
Co-ops are community-based social organizations; our Members are owners. It’s an opportunity to learn more about the Co-op and participate in the Co-operative. The AGM is one of the key ways members can participate in the democracy of Valleyview Co-op. We encourage all members to attend and participate.
To help facilitate accurate voting, we ask that members and guests register for the AGM.
What will happen at the AGM?
Agenda Items Include:
• Audit/Financial Report
• Report General Manager
• Report Minutes from last meeting
• Board Report
• Appointment of Auditors
• Election of Directors
Is there an opportunity for a member to participate in the AGM?
Yes, the primary way members can participate is through the election process. The Board of Directors is empowered to make decisions for the Co-operative; however, certain bylaws and requirements require member approval. Each Valleyview Co-op member number has one vote.
Members who meet the criteria can also allow their name to stand for election to the Valleyview Co-op Board of Directors.
Valleyview Consumers Co-op will fill three positions for the Board of Directors:
• Three 3-year terms
Should three members or fewer step forward to fill any of the three vacancies, an election will not be held.
