Valleyview Co-op Former Gas Bar Demolition

Virden, MB – Valleyview Co-op is moving forward with the demolition of the former Gas Bar located at 114 7th Avenue in Virden. The work, contracted to Miller Environmental Corporation, is scheduled to take place from October 6th to October 18th, 2025.

Once complete, the site will be redeveloped into an extension of the grocery store parking lot, providing additional convenience for our members and customers. As part of this project, the entrance into the Gas Bar site from King Street will be permanently closed.

The downtown Valleyview Co-op Virden gas bar location has been closed since February 2024, when Valleyview Co-op opened a new convenience store and gas bar at 555 Frame Street in Virden.
